This time we went to Maine in warmer weather, in October 2004. We visited
Bob's relatives, and saw a bit of the fall colors. (For a
colder view of Maine, click on our January 2003
trip.)

Our first stop was the huge L.L. Bean retail store in Freeport, with its giant
boot.
This is the family farmhouse, where Bob's cousin
Reed and his wife Karen live. (Bob and Jane are posing with the pumpkins.)

The
latest addition to the family is their giant schnauzer, Henry.

Henry loves to take long walks in the woods, near
the cabin built by Bob and Reed's grandfather. It's very peaceful out here
(unless you're being chased by a giant schnauzer).

We also visited with Aunt Carrie. She's in
her 90s, and still enjoys working in the garden. She also makes Christmas
wreaths by hand every year and sends them to all her friends and relatives.

And
finally, a bit of of Maine scenery. These scenes were near Millinocket
(north of Bangor) and also Ogunquit (near Kennebunkport).
