Here are some pictures from our trip to Charleston, South Carolina. 
First things first... let's go to the beach!



Our hotel was on the Isle of Palms, a few miles outside of Charleston.  It's part of a resort area called Wild Dunes.



Jane reads the guide book, finding some things we should see in Charleston.

Colorful houses and narrow alleys line the old cobblestone streets.


Sweetgrass baskets are sold everywhere.  This lady was selling her baskets in the Charleston Visitor's Center.

Fort Moultrie defended Charleston's harbor during several wars.  Swimming near the fort is dangerous - Deadly Currents, $500 fine - isn't it enough that they drowned?
