We visited Callaway Gardens in April. It's in Pine Mountain, Georgia, near
Columbus.

Our first stop was the "Birds of Prey" show, where
our national symbol and other birds were performing.

Jane found another sort of bird too, who didn't mind having his picture taken
close-up.

Onward to the flowers.
The tulips above, lead to the entrance of the
Azalea Trail below.

Here's the outside of the Butterfly House.
Bob and Jane pose in the only swing covered with yellow flowers (Jane's favorite
color).

And inside the butterfly house, of course we find the butterflies. You
aren't supposed to touch them, but if they land on your hand, we guess it's okay
to take their picture.

Now on the Wildflower Trail. Jane leans over to inspect a flower, which is
also leaning over.
More flowers along one of the trails.

Jane hugs a tree, then receives a hug back. These two pictures were taken
along a trail that surrounds the lake (shown in the background). It was a
long walk.
And
near the end of our trip, we wondered what this snake was staring at... and also
why these three fish were staring at the snake! Must be something good to
eat in that water somewhere.
