Home Photos About Us Cats Family Links

Cats have always been some of our favorite people. Here you'll find some pictures of our fuzzy friends, mostly cats, but with a few other visitors as well.

Eliza and Henry are our latest.  They're twins, as you can see, and are named after two characters in the musical My Fair Lady.

Liza (left) and Henry are just about inseparable.

Here they are, as kittens.  With huge ears.

Claudia was a stray who came to us with a false pregnancy.  Jane's sister called her "Gateway" because of her cow-like coloring.

Amelia was our first cat after we married.  We met her when she was a kitten, standing on the fence and bravely hissing at the dog next door.

Amelia when she was a kitten.

Sandy was Bob's cat since 1980, and she "adopted" Jane after we were married.

Some of our other visitors...

Moseby was a frequent dinner guest.
Merlin and his sister Scrawny visited us one Christmas.  They belonged to Jane's brother Paul.
One of the problems when you leave cat food outdoors.  Just about everybody comes by for dinner.
This old fellow looks like he'd had a hard life, but he too came by for dinner from time to time.

Jane's cats

Jack was a recent guest at Jane's family home.
Gretel the dachshund, and one of many tiger-striped cats that Jane grew up with.
This one was named Sidney.  Amazingly, one just like him (her?) was a temporary dinner guest at our new house last year.
Jane was always posing with her cats.  This is Midnight.

And two tiger-striped kittens.

Bob's cats

Kathy lived with Bob and his parents in Arlington, Virginia.

Buffina was inherited from our neighbors in Cyprus.  While living with us, she had four kittens (delivered one night during a dinner party).
